We are seeking donations of personal care items (hairbrushes, hair ties, lotion, shampoo, etc.) for the girls to take home as well as BAKED GOODS. If you can donate, please contact us for more information at email@example.com

SBIM took girls on a field trip to an "anti-bullying" event being held at Reston Farm Market. We went through mazes that had stoppoing points on how to stop bullying followed by slides, moon bounces, apples, cider and each girl got to take home a pumpkin.
Girls spent the morning making vision boards and focusing on their hopes and dreams for the upcoming school year and their future. We had a guest speaker from Kingdom Blessings, Lori Mitchell, who shared why having a vision is important for young girls.
Mentors and volunteers went on a field trip to get several of our girls in a new outfit for the first day of school to start the year out with confidence!
