This month we empowered our girls by celebrating inner strength and friendship. We reflected and discussed our positive attributes and what makes us special. We also discussed what positive characteristics we look for in a friend. The girls made friendship bracelets for themselves and for a close friend. The bracelets spelled out positive words that described special attributes they and their friend bring to the friendship. Gift boxes and cards were made for their special friend, and we ended our morning with a snack and a discussion about healthy relationships. Our girls also had the opportunity to shop at a Book Mobile that graciously set up in the lobby with an amazing variety of free books!
