This month our girls celebrated self love and good health. This event recognized how important it is to take care of our mental, physical, and emotional health. Our girls learned volleyball skills from the No Panic Chantilly Girls Volleyball team. They also discussed how team sports positively impact their mental health. Ms. Moffat, a therapist, joined the event and discussed safe spaces when we are feeling stressed and taught us some muscle relaxation techniques. We wrapped up the morning with a healthy snack and a discussion about nutrition. Finally, the girls got to put together a Self Care Kit with items that can help them destress in challenging situations. A healthy and fun time was had by all!
